Typical Tuesdays...

It's a classic-jazz sort of Tuesday...

and a give-the-baby-his-bath sort of Tuesday...

Got to have the blackmail pictures...

Have you ever seen a baby with his own spa-tub??

...and proud of it.

giving his Mimi "the look"...

...and it will be a get-in-the-Anatomy/Physiology-lessons, spaghetti dinner, clean-the-laundry-room sort of Tuesday. A watch the birds at the back feeders, sip on diet Coke, go to my son's basketball game tonight, reflect-on-my-blessings sort of Tuesday.

He's been smiling at me. Yeah. Babygrandson has been smiling at his Mimi.

Bliss.

It is has been so much fun looking at all your typical and non typical days. You find blessings even in your hard days, something I am learning to do. Even when it is so busy there's hardly time to take a breath just taking 15 minutes of doing something is purely enjoyed can help the work day along. That's what I am learning...and it is working to find pleasure and blessings in the small things. Thank you for letting me see a part of your life that you have shared.

Perhaps the reason none of my children have enjoyed bathing as small babies is that I have failed to put them in a spa tub... Love that super cute look he makes :-)

HEY Christina! Wow...thank you, my young friend. Your words mean a great deal to me - because I esteem you as being quite special! :-) Watching you grow up has been one of my life's biggest joys. Keep on taking joy. I will, too.

Faith, that little spa tub was a shower gift...I don't know where you get them. Maybe a "Babies R Us" type of store? It really does seem to make a difference, because all my babies didn't like their baths at first - but Timothy has always loved his little spa tub! From his very first bath, he seems to enjoy it.

OH - by the way! YES, I have heard of Rob Rufus! I have heard some of his messages and I think he has a good handle on grace - I wonder about some of what he teaches, but would still listen to him when I have time. I listened to him a lot last year - 2010. It had been awhile since I'd heard him - then I listend to his message on Living Intentionally...and it so "went with" what I was already thinking about my "Word for 2011", and also inspired more thoughts on it - so you made the EXACT right connection! That is CRAZY! We really are kindred spirits!!!

Have a blessed upcoming weekend, you and your little ones.
